Kolkata is connected through domestic and international airlines those arrive at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport which is around 20 Km from the downtown. The airport can be accessed by Air conditioned Volvo Buses from/to different direction of the city. There are circular Rails those run from airport through different parts of the city. There are three major Rail terminals those connect Kolkata with other places of India. These are Howrah, Sealdah and Kolkata. Metro Rail is the most convenient public transport plying from extreme north end of the city (Dum Dum) to extreme south part of the city (Garia), running through various place of the city. Private and pre-paid taxis are available at the designated booth in the airport and the terminal rail stations. Ola, Uber, Gatidhara and Private rental cars are available on call.
